Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 31, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how K&N Insurance Brokerage (“K&N,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit kninsurance.com, call us, request a quote, or ask us to service an insurance matter.

Information We Collect

Information you choose to provide

When you call, email, text, request a quote, contact customer service, or otherwise communicate with us, you may provide information such as your name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, date of birth, driver’s-license details, vehicle or property information, coverage needs, policy details, claim-related information, and other information needed to respond to your request or place and service insurance.

Website and device information

Our website and service providers may collect limited internet or electronic activity information, such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, timestamps, campaign identifiers, and interactions with website links or telephone numbers. Cookies and similar technologies may be used to keep the website secure and working, remember a privacy choice, understand site performance, attribute calls or quote starts, measure advertising, and show relevant advertising on other websites or apps.

An ordinary website visit does not by itself tell K&N your name or email address. Advertising and analytics providers may recognize a browser or device and may associate activity with information they already hold, such as an account with their service. We generally learn who you are only when you or an authorized third party provides identifying information to us.

How We Use Information

  • Provide quotes, communicate with you, place coverage, and service policies or requests.
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our website and services.
  • Measure calls, quote starts, website performance, and advertising effectiveness.
  • Create advertising audiences and show or limit relevant advertising, subject to the choices described below.
  • Detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, or unlawful activity and comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not use optional website advertising or audience-measurement data to make insurance underwriting, eligibility, or rating decisions.

When We Disclose Information

We may disclose information as reasonably necessary to insurance carriers, wholesale brokers, premium-finance or payment providers, quote and customer-communication platforms, professional advisers, regulators, law enforcement, and vendors that help us host, secure, operate, analyze, or advertise our services. Depending on the page and your privacy choice, these vendors may include service providers that support website hosting and security, customer communications and call attribution, analytics, and advertising.

Advertising and analytics disclosures may include identifiers, campaign information, and internet or other electronic activity. Some U.S. privacy laws may call certain advertising disclosures a “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for “targeted advertising,” even when no money is exchanged for the information. We do not publish your quote, policy, or service-request information, and our protected quote, contact, and servicing pages are excluded from optional advertising and audience-measurement tags.

Your Privacy Choices

On eligible informational and marketing pages, optional personalized-advertising and audience-measurement technologies may operate unless you turn them off. Essential security and website functions remain available either way.

  • Website choice: Use the Your Privacy Choices control in the website footer to turn personalized advertising and optional analytics off or on for this browser.
  • Global Privacy Control: If your browser sends a recognized Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to turn off optional personalized-advertising and audience-measurement technologies. GPC takes priority over a prior website choice.
  • Calls and quotes: Turning optional tracking off does not prevent you from browsing, calling us, or following a link to request a quote.

The website choice is stored in a first-party cookie for up to 365 days and applies only to the browser where it was made. Clearing cookies can remove that saved choice; an enabled GPC signal continues to apply. A change takes full effect when the page reloads. Provider-side records created before an opt-out may be retained as permitted by law and the provider’s applicable terms.

Privacy Requests

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of certain personal information, and to opt out of certain advertising-related disclosures or processing. You may also have a right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising an applicable privacy right.

To make a privacy request, email [email protected], call 718-739-9090, or write to K&N Insurance Brokerage, 182-03 Jamaica Avenue, Queens, NY 11423. Please describe the request and how we can identify the relevant records. We may need to verify your identity or authority before completing a request. An authorized agent may submit a request where applicable law permits.

Retention and Security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including servicing, legal, regulatory, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and security needs. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the service involved.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not send highly sensitive insurance or identity information through an ordinary email unless we direct you to an appropriate channel.

Children’s Privacy

Our website is intended for adults seeking insurance information or services. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the website, contact us so we can review and address it.

External Links and Changes

Our website may link to services we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices. We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. The date at the top shows when this version was last updated.
